Hi all! I'm reading the pH Miracle by Robert Young. Is anyone here following his program? There's a ton of great stuff in the book, but he's also a big proponent of soy, at least in this book. Does he have any sort of updated statement about soy? Or is soy really okay? Natalia Rose says it's highly mucus-forming, and mucus-formation is something Young talks about heavily in this book, yet he advocates soy all over the place.
I'm starting to suspect I may have a yeast problem; hence, this book. But, man, I don't know how I would ever be able to follow his program to the letter, or even close to the letter. I already don't do dairy, meat, processed sugar, white flour or alcohol--which is a big change from where I was a couple years ago--but to read his book, I still am not doing enough. (For example, I do use Green Vibrance powder and it has probiotics in it--something he says is a no-no--and I do use soy sauce and I do eat whole grain pasta once in awhile and nutritional yeast on occasion. And I don't take any supplements because I can't swallow them--literally cannot swallow pills that big, so any supplementation I do has to be relatively tasteless and slip into a smoothie undetected--and he advocates SO MANY . . .) Has anyone followed his program and had success with combating yeast? Or with improving their health? I'd love to hear!
