Had to lighten up the title. couldn't resist. Just wondering how many others are actually GAINing weight during treatment. I was on female hormones and took myself off them cuz of weight gain. I have now gained back 20 of the 30 lbs I busted my but to lose at weight watchers. I should shut up and just be happy that I'm not emaciated and 80 lbs, so I have more to fight with, but C'MON. I'm not sure if it is the chinese herbals I am on or what, cuz I have had NO nausea (even after i quit taking the antibarf meds 2 days post chemo) and have the appetite of a small country, even with the taste changes....hmm. I'm stumped

I hear ya. I JUST finished losing 30lbs when I got the initial diagnosis. Was quite happy with my new skinny wardrobe. Now I have a fat and skinny wardrobe, as well as a chemo wardrobe (sweats and fuzzy socks...tee hee). I think no matter how hard it is to look at, we have to be thankful that we have the extra for our bodies to fight with. I know a lot of the ladies on here are battling with simply being able to keep food down and keep weight on. I know I personally need to get off my a$$ more and get moving, but another side effect is peripheral neuropathy, and 2 weeks ago I broke a toe doing upward facing dog because my toes bent too far back and I didn't feel it. I think I'll try belly dancing. Lord knows I HAVE the belly, and I think I would feel it if I broke a HIP. LMAO.
Peace Girls, don't worry about the jigglies anymore, we will start a workout CSL group once we are all feeling better.
PS. Prednisone, dex and the other steroids are a bitch. You can't do anything about gaining weight from them, just roll with it for now, and let your body heal.
peace and love to all of you crazy sexy women!
