This may be completely inappropriate to post this here. If so, I apologize and will delete!! Here's my story... I'm moving from NYC to New Orleans. We're moving to be close to my mother-in-law who has pancreatic cancer. We're leaving on Monday. I have a stray cat and her baby that I've been fostering since June. I found the mamma cat, Sydney on the street in Harlem. She was very malnourished, very tiny and very pregnant! I managed to get her into a carrier and got her inside. A few days later she gave birth to five beautiful kittens. I've found homes for 4 of the kittens but not for Sydney and her sweet baby Coco. I've been showing them on weekends with a rescue group. They're listed on petfinder, I've been sending out emails, but their soul mate has not surfaced yet! I'm getting so scared because I'm leaving on Monday and I can't take them with me because I have 2 cats already and mamma cat does not get along with my cats. And we'll be living in a tiny little studio until we find a permanent home. Is there anyone out there that is in the market to adopt these two sweet babies?
They have both been vetted and are in perfect health! They've had their shots. Sydney has been spayed. Sydney is very young. The vet thinks she's not more than a year and probably got pregnant in her first heat. She's tiny beautiful black cat with a gorgeous little face. She's gentle with people (just not with other cats except her baby Coco). She always wants to be near me, on my lap, getting her butt scratched and belly rubbed. Baby Coco and I have a very special connection. She so sweet and gentle and funny! She always wants to be close to me (sleeping in my lap right now). Whenever I walk into the apartment she lets out these little chirps and comes running to me to be picked up and held! And she loves to play hide and seek! The noises she makes when I play peek a boo are both heartbreaking and hilarious they are so cute!!
I really want them to go together because they are best buddies. They run and wrestle and chase toys together. They cuddle and groom each other.
The rescue group has said that they will hold onto them but they are out of foster homes, so they will be living in a cage in the basement of a vet's office and shown at a petstore on Saturdays. I cry even thinking of leaving them in that situation. I love them more than anything!
If anyone is interested in adopting them, please let me know. Or maybe someone in the New York area would be able to foster them as the rescue group continues looking for a forever home for them. I am driving to New Orleans next week so it would be feasible to drive them to another state! My priority is getting them the best possible home that will love them forever. Thanks for listening!!!

This doesn't do Coco's squeaking justice but it's still cute:
