Karen, glad to hear of your success! CONGRATS! Thanks for sharing what you are doing. There has been similar research regarding DIM's effectiveness in Ovarian Cancer, supposedly killing OC cells. Very interesting about the hepatic toxicity potential with I3C. Seems like the natural form found in veggies is the best way to go on that one. I am curious, have you used the Estronex test (2-OH/16A-OH test) to monitor the effectiveness of your protocol? Is this a self-designed protocol or something from a naturopath or nutritionist?

Also curious about the Butyrate. I took this for awhile but didn't see any shift in my test results. Have you found the Meno-gen effective for hot flashes? Interested to learn more about what you're doing...thanks for sharing.

hi karen,
i am also a breast cancer survivor. i chose to have my ovaries removed also, anything to keep this from returning.
thank you for sharing your protocol, i respect your reasons for not taking tamoxifen or arimidex. however, in doing research for a natural product to ease menopause symtoms i looked into meno-gen and it specifically states that it should not be used by women with estrogen receptive breast cancer. . . have you looked a remifemin?
you look fabulous, by the way and congratulations on all your great labs. i would like to learn more about myomin.

Thank you for posting this wonderful information. I saw your information on another of your replies and came over to the life lounge to read your protocol. My onc is wanting me to start Tamoxifen after chemo and I have done lots of research on it and it scares me due to causing other cancers. It's hard for me to think I can pop a pill for 5 years that could increase my chances of endo cancers and research shows that it can have the complete opposite effects after just 2 years of use. I have done reseach on I3C and recently came across info on DIM. Looks like I will going for the DIM after all. I haven't informed my onc just yet, I still have a few months and 4 cycles left to get the DIM discussion in. I am all about healing our bodies without the typical "meds" in the world. Thank you again for your research!!! I would like any information you may have on "your protocol". In the other reply you gave your email if we wanted more information (I don't remember where I caught your reply). I would appreciate you letting me know how to get the info from you!
