It's my One Year CanServersary!!

YAY!!!! Yep, April 4 last year...4:15 in the afternoon the phone call came. (some things you don't forget, you know?)
Doctor: "We found some cancer".
Me (thinking): What do you mean SOME cancer...what exactly does that mean!?
Then, oh my gosh...now what!

Well, I went to school real fast and am so grateful for friends, especially Camilla, who called right away and said I'm bringing you my juicer...right now. Then began my journey with juicing and fasting and changing my life on a scale that I never had before. I've fought long and hard to have treatment that is right for me. I have chosen alternative treatment. Even an alternative chemotherapy treatment. I started a blog, got a few things straightened out with God, traveled to Chicago for my alternative chemotherapy treatments, uncovered a couple of other underlying health issues like a heavy metal load that is off the charts,(mercury, yikes) and Lyme disease., and discovered just how many people love and cherish me.

And, best of all, I found CSC. I cannot tell you how much this community means to me. It is a blessing beyond words. I love my posse of friends! You all are the fire under my butt that gets me into that kitchen and fire up that juicer. You help keep me honest and moving forward...every day...one juice at a time. I just thought you should know.

And, thank you, Kris, you are a sweetheart. I was so excited when I found you. I just kept saying Oh My God! she is doing just what I am doing! It was such a relief because my friends and family, though they support and love me (some think I'm crazy), are not actually doing this stuff!
