doesn't make sense to me....

I went shopping today, bought 5 bags of veggies and fruit, for a pretty penny....79.81$$ Yet, I could buy 10 pot pies for $10. This is CRAZY to me, wonder why this country is HUGE, tired, and defeated. I remember my first year of college all we ate was ramen noodles (bad, bad, bad) it finally took me until 35 to realize this.... (and to afford fruits and veggies) I need to teach my kids NOW!! It just doesn't seem right.

Especially given the fact that we are encourageing factory farming and mass-produced produce, importing fruits and veggies from other countries where who knows how they are treated, all in the name of saving us money??? Huh? Did I just fall off the gravy boat or does someone need to explain this to me? Meanwhile I am declining fun-filled nights out with my friends not so much because of the cancer I have, but because all my fun-money goes to buying the stuff to get (and keep) me well!; ▶ Reply to This
