UPDATE - Jennifer in the hospital, not doing well...

I will be praying for your friend and her loved ones, so that she is able to come home as soon as possible. I hope nothing but the best for her, and her safe return home.

Thank you all for continuing to send Jen prayers and light. Sadly, her condition is declining, but we continue to look for and focus on the joy that remains. The big news, this Sunday, we are going to celebrate Jen's 29th birthday. And we mean celebrate!! Jen has touched the lives of many, and she continues to do so, this party is about acknowledging her and her contributions. Her hospice team is going to help us get her out of the house for this party - woohoo!! We are all going to bring a perennial in lieu of gifts to plant in a Memory Garden for Jen. It should be a special day, full of lots of smiles, laughter, and fun. Please join us in spirit!!

My prayers are with Jen...I pray that she is peaceful and resting...and not suffering...from what I have seen and read, she has been through more than any 29 year old should have to go through.

I hope she is enveloped in prayer and lightness...and is being in God's hands...

I'm so emotional right now, and this is all I needed to hear to get me started crying. I just hate this. I don't know how to handle this. I wish so badly that I could come to her Birthday party and plant some pretty flowers in her Memory Garden. Or some herbs. I wish I could just meet her and give her a hug and thank her for being my friend, and giving me support. This must be so aweful for you Bav. I'm sorry that this is happening. I'm still hoping for a miracle. I'm still hoping God will hear our prayers. Please give Jennifer a hug for me on her Birthday and tell her, Goony loves her.

You are right, this is awful, incredibly difficult and terribly upsetting. But in order to not get swallowed up in those feelings, this is what I focus on (on my good days):

Jennifer is a tender, gentle spirit. She has expended much of her life being an "angelic energy" for those around her. I choose to believe all that is happening will allow Jen to be a greater source of comfort, peace and joy to so many more people as a true angel. And given my own personal experiences with "the other side," I know it is a place of such beauty and love that her spirit will soar.

I will abosolutely give her your happy birthday hugs of love and friendship!!
