You'll be in my thoughts during my meditations. Tell the doctors and nurses before they give you your anesthesia that you only want positive comments made during your surgery. The body reacts to negative thoughts and healing can happen must faster when it's in a positive environment.
We can loose our hair, our breasts, but not our lives. Our TATAs are not the sum of who we are.I'm happy for your celebration tonite.Your humor is shing through, right on.how about writing...
Go ahead and take it,it's doing nothing but causing trouble!
I havent read this for a while...I am two weeks out, and aside from the drain and restrictions in my arm movement, it has gone really well. Minimal pain. Cant wait to get the drain out and be allowed to move my arm! They did find invasive cancer, and are looking into chemo/hormone therapy...so we are not done, but nodes were clear. I did go for a great massage on saturday, and am eating all sorts of wonderful veggies, etc. My energy is great! Thanks for all your love and support!

Forgot to add...the Mendhi tattoo was a huge hit!!! all the nurses and docs have commented how totally cool it was. It is starting to fade, I am going to miss it! Here is a pic, You have to look at the pic in a mirror to read it :-)
Have you had your surgery yet? Was it scheduled for 3/07? If so, how are you doing? I had my mastectomy last June~ June 6th to be exact. I am doing great now and you'll be fine!! Do you need further treatment? If you need to talk, please write.
