UPDATE - Jennifer in the hospital, not doing well...
We're sorry, but this discussion has just been closed to further replies.
My dear friend Jennifer, whom some of you know here through the forum, was hospitalized over the weekend. Jen has severe Graft Versus Host Disease (GVHD) after having had 2 stem cell transplants for lymphoma. The GVHD is destroying her lungs, her breathing is becoming increasingly labored. We are currently working on getting Jen home, into her own comfy bed, with her cheerful, familiar surroundings around her.
Please, keep Jen in your thoughts and prayers. She is truly a sweet, tender spirit, who has done so much for me in my own healing, and for many many others as well.
Bav,
I am deeply sorry to hear this news. Please send her all of our love from CSL and I'll be praying for her to be strong and not in pain.
Much Love,
Gina

I sent you a message :)
I am so sorry to hear that this is happening but I won't lose my hope for a miracle (like Goony said).
Miracles do happen and we gotta keep our faith in it. I am sending her big big hugs on her birthday.
I wish I could plant something in that Garden but I hope that she really enjoys her birthday to the fullest.
My prayers, healing lights with her.
Tell her she is very special to all of us and an inspiration for us. Thanks Bav and Please keep us updated.
she is in my thoughts.

i once heard a story from a woman that was in a horrible auto accident. she said during her near-death experience she could audibly HEAR every person's thoughts nearby the accident. along with that she had a supernatural sense of "knowing" who each person was. Among all the comments she specifically heard the prayer of a woman. This stranger was praying for her safety. The accident victim did eventually recover and she never forgot that woman's prayers for her...she remembered her name and found her address. Can you imagine being that woman and finding some stranger at your door thanking you for a prayer you never even spoke aloud?! It never hurts to have a little confirmation that our prayers are heard not just by the Divine but by others as well. we love you precious, Jennifer. listen hard and i hope you hear our thousands of prayers! ---Laura
