My sis is undergoing treatment for cancer and I believe in the power of numbers and prayer and healthy thoughts ... so if you could take a moment to think of Amy's sister ... I would be very grateful! Thank you!
I was also a nurse though I worked midnights in a Level 1 Trama Center in St. Louis, Mo., then I began working PT for Hospice which 2 very different types of caring but so many of my friends are either nurses or social workers and when someone that has dedicated their life to helping others becomes ill, it very much touches my heart. Consider Julie also on my Prayer Chain and you Amy as her wonderful sister for being at her side. She is very blessed to have you. You will both remain in my prayers. Peace & Hugs, Patty
AMY,
I am very new here but I would keep your sister in my thoughts and prayers for I too believe in prayers in numbers. I have leukemia but it doesn't have me X 13 years. Consider the prayers here have begun. HUGS & PRAYEARS, PATTY
Hi Amy, I also believe in the awesome power of prayer! Sending healing prayers and thoughts for Julie and yourself. I'm also a nurse and I can tell you that most nurses don't make very good patients. It's tough to give up the care-giving role when it's in your blood and to be cared for instead. I would try and shield my family from all hurt and pain with all that I was going through and 2 years later, I still catch myself doing it at times. Thank God for friends and families - our Earth Angels!

Hello all you wonderful women!
My sister's doctor was jumping up and down with excitement as he told her he could find NO evidence of active canser in her whole bod!!! My family and I are SO relieved and excited! She has her 6th and final chemo tomorrow. Thank you all for keeping her in your thoughts and prayers and healing energy vibes!! Thank you thank you!
