I'm used to using Comet to scour my tub. I have tried a few natural products, but it doesn't seem like it gets as clean. Does anyone have a product they love to clean the tub?
I like Melaleuca. I'm not a distributor or anything, just a customer. I love the smell of them and they work well and I don't have to worry about the toxicity.
I use Bon Ami and Lemon. Not together. also fill you tub with water or leave it full after a bath and use dental cleanser. You know the kind for dentures. No I don't have dentures.
There is a neat little site called flylady.net that gives little tips on cleaning and decluttering (my favorite) in general. She talks about using products like baking soda and vinegar for cleaning and simplifying the whole process by breaking the house down into zones and doing things a little at a time then maintaining so you don't have to do BIG cleaning often and you have more time for FUN! Like I said, decluttering turns me on and her tips on that are my favorite - we all know the toll clutter can take on our lives! Just know that if you do sign up, you'll get LOTS of e-mails reminding you of little "upkeep" things. It's all good but I found that a bit overwhelming but I still love her site and ideas.

You can use Bon Ami which is like comet. It comes in the same kind of shaker bottle and is non toxic.
I also use eco brand bathroom cleaner - it's like a soft scrub. Both are available at whole foods. Bon ami is available a lot of places. It's been around for about a century.

I like using Mrs. Meyer's products. Also there are numerous books, some you can even pick up through your library, with homemade cleaners which are green-friendly and non toxic. Also alot of these recipes/ formulas for cleaners are online. Most of them take everyday things like baking soda, vinegar, borax, essential oil, etc.
I use Bon Ami scouring powder in the tub. No harsh chemicals. Whole Foods and most conventional grocery stores sell it.
I once saw a show where a woman used a mixture of grapefruit juice, fresh squeezed , and epsom salts to scrub the tub. The grapefruit juice is acidic enough to cut through grim. I have never tried it though.

You have gotten some great advice but...............When we installed our walkin shower it had a warning on it NOT to use any abrasives on it because of the finish.
I love these cleaning conversations for I grew up using vineger and baking soda.I keep a spray bottle of vineger and i use it for so many things .I sprinkle baking soda on carpet let set overnight and vacume gets rid of oders.I am bad I use "the works" in a spray on my shower and the greenworks toilet cleaner.
