Oh Canada! I'm so happy to see you ladies here!!! Can you guess where I'm from?! I agree with BCers, I think you live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. My Mom lives in West Vancouver and I try to visit as often as possible...I'm actually thinking about moving out there...
How did everyone "find" Kris and the Crazy Sexy world?!
I hunted relentlessly on the web for cancer stuff I could relate to. I came across her website and took a look. I bought the book. I blog and I went and checked her blog and voila! There was the CrazySexyLife.
I caught her documentary one night, it was over half way over too... but luckily it was shown again a couple of days later. I bought the book and did a search for her. Found her site and then her blog.... the rest is history!
I do not have canSer, but I do have fertility issues. I thought, sheesh, if she can do that with cancer, I can surely do something about my fertility issues...
I saw Kris Carr on Oprah and rushed out to buy her book. I love her kick-ass approach to dealing with cancer. When I first had breast cancer in 1998, I bought into the passive pink-ribbon breast cancer movement. When it came back last year, I wanted to take a more active, take charge approach. I really connected with Kris's book and website.
