" you've had how many styes?!?!"

So today i woke up with my 11th stye in 3 months. and when i say stye, im not talking little irritating wear-glasses-for-a-day-or-two stye, im talking huge styes. my eye (which ever one it may be ) swells shuts and last for a week at least until it gets so big and full of infection it breaks. ( im sorry thats gross)

i cannot figure out what is going on all my doctors say "oh you rub your eyes too much." i have been making an effort to NOT rub them AT ALL because these styes drive me crazy. i have 2 weeks stye free and then another one pops up. i feel like there has to be a reason.. maybe i am lacking a vitamin? ive got some toxins who knows.. but any suggestions would be helpful.

i do wear contacts fyi but clean them often and have replaced after styes. so far i have tried:

hot compresses.
tea bags
antibiotics ( i only take them when i HAVE too )
OTC stye treatment (its a joke)
