We are doing well, thank for the message, its good to hear from you. I'm glad you got your dose changed and are feeling well again. How many more chemos for you? Sid is half way done. Only four more to go. I like your pictures! You all look marvelous!! Keep your chin up and take good care! xo Vivian
I've been doing well. I haven't been on line for a while and I apologize. My youngest son didn't handle my diagnosis very well and left for 4 months to live with his dad. He returned the end of August and things have been busy with his soccer games, school stuff, and applying for college. My scans all show no shrinkage in any tumors in my liver. There's a new drugs that has come out of a clinical trial. However, you have to meet a certain genetic qualification. I had a liver biopsy performed to see if I qualified. However, they couldn't send my sample to the genetic lab because what the radiologist pulled out was not cancer. The radiologist told me before my biopsy that he thought some of the spots in my liver were benign. However, I have an extensive amount so surgery is out of the question. I am going to have a PET scan performed in the next couple of weeks. I'm really afraid of the results. I am hoping that the cancer hasn't spread any where else. The doctor warned me that my liver might light up like a Christmas tree even though the one spot they pulled out wasn't cancerous. I have asked for a second opinion by a doctor at Stanford. So, right now, I have a lot on my plate. I didn't have the infusion chemo this last time because I am experiencing lots of numbness in my hands and feet. Although I am still taking the oral chemo. Feel like I'm writing a book. Sorry about that. I'm working full time and unfortunately, I a real jerk for an ex who is taking me into court for child support. My boys are doing great. My youngest will receive his Eagle at his court next month (my oldest received his when he was 13). My oldest has a math degree and is studying to be an actuary.
Sorry to hear you're not doing well with the chemo. That has to be extremely difficult. Hang in there. You've done so well so far. I'm really proud of you. How are your kids doing and what have you been doing lately? Take care. Love Renee

So lgad to hear you are doing well. I had three surgeries this past year, so I know it has its challenges. How much longer for chemo? I did not have to do chemo thankfully. Hang in there sunshine!
