I have grown a lot, changed a lot, and I know I have a lot more to go, but I also know where I am now is way better then where I've been. I look forward to tomorrow, every day. well it's official. i took a leave of absence from school. after talking it over with mama c (dee's mom/my legal guardian), my dean, and a lot of my friends and family, it's something i really wanted to do. they let me switch to an independent study and i'll have to mail my work in every week but it means i get to be with my sister. i was hoping she'd be getting better quicker but i found myself just...making myself really ill over not being here, and being here for her and i really couldn't tak…

school is not helping!!

I'm back in school, I was hoping maybe my classes would keep my mind off of every thing but ugh! No such luck! I sat in class all day just worrying because I couldn't be there or see her or know what's going on and see for myself how she was doing. I hate this!!! I know there's nothing I can do really but it's so oh my goodness frustrating! Just had to get that off my chest.

That's what people always say right? I think it does more than heal my sisters soul. Music is her life, her passion, her love. It's what she calls her 'constant companion'. The Blue Man Group did a shot out to my sister! And other good news

Last night, my b-i-l (Dee's really great guy) had to throw this big event for the Japanese investors of his company. They had flown the investors in and he had to entertain them and blah blah blah. So to celebrate the re-launching of the Tokyo firm, they had this big party at The Venetian. There were dinner and drinks at Madame Tussauds which in my opinion, was not a good idea! Get people boozed up and toss them in a room with a bunch of crazy wax figures? It was insane! They were watching me go…

I think I jinxed my sister

I was talking to some body recently and I said 'I think I jinxed her!' just kind of joking and they replied with 'there's no such thing as a jinx!'. But now, I think I really did. I got so excited by how much better she seemed yesterday that when I saw her today I got so bummed and depressed.
