I NEVER want to hear the words, "You're young, eat healthy, exercise...It's probably nothing to worry about...but" AGAIN!

Ok...so parts of this are from my blog on another site, but I felt like I should give some background here. So here I go... So many times I was told these words before I was actually diagnosed. I repeated them to myself over and over again trying not to freak out. And don't get me wrong, it could definitely be worse and I am extremely thankful it isn't. I have problem with my ovaries, in addition to elevated CA-125, pelvic pain, and other symptoms, like bloating, etc. Yet, two of gyn's said that's almost impossible to diagnose early stage of ovarian cancer. This whole situation is very frustraiting to me. May I ask, what type of symptoms did you have; how were you diagnosed?? Through an ultrasound, cat scan, CA-125 test? I agree with you totally: it is just terrible when md's tell you its OK, don't worry, and then you have it!
