Hi Tina! It sounds like you have a beautiful spot--quail are some of my favorites. I was out for a run on the River Path this morning and saw little families of them running all over the place. Fun! I see that there are a few other Tucson folks on here and I'd love to start a Crazy Sexy Tucson/Southern AZ Posse. What do you think?

That's cool about Tony Robbins, amazing really :)

For adding more whole foods... a little bit more each day, take it meal by meal. Adding green smoothies are a blessing, too.

Cheers,
Kristen

Hi Tina, please be gentle with yourself. YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE! You have been through a tramatic year. How ever you are coping, you are a survivor, no judgements. You are exactly where you are supposed to be. Treat yourself as you would your best friend. Take yourself out for some pampering, hiking, an ice cream sundae, whatever puts a smile on your face. You deserve it. Wish I could be there and help with that assignment! Do you have a Wellness Community in your area? I don't know what I would have done without their emotional and healing support. Check out the National Cancer Survivors Coalition. I think their website is www.canceradvocacy.org. They have some great survivor guidelines/care plan and tips. Check it out. Hang in there! I know it will get better

Hi Tina, I am getting better all the time. At the moment I am washing Kale and my other veggies. A year ago I never would have believed that I would be doing this kind of thing! I am so motivated by how good I feel and I can completely feel it when I eat something that isn't great for my body, which makes me want to refine my diet even more. I used to struggle with sugar cravings and needed coffee. Not anymore, and it has only been about 4 weeks. Once I took the plunge and experimented with my juicer, I was on my way. I want to get another model though. I am looking at getting the Breville bje510xl. Keep me posted on how you are doing. When I was in my most exhausted phase I found that short walks and meditation were the activities that got me back going. I took it all very slowly and was very patient with myself. I also built in at least an hour and a half just for resting, reading, quite time. It really made a difference and when I start to feel overwhelmed I realize that that is what I have begun to let go of. So, I get back on track and begin again. Let me know how it goes! Cheers, Shell
