About Me:: Hi, My name is Laura. I'm 18 years old. I have type 1 diabetes and have reccently come out of hospital because of few things, but mainly because my diabetes is so poorly controlled that my vision is already going blurry and I could get kidney disease. I have had diabetes for 8 years now and when I was in the hospital I saw Kris Carr (sorry if the spelling is wrong) on Oprah, and I am so inspired by the way you have accepted your cancer and gotten on with life, whereas I'm still questioning "why the hell me??" (not that I wish this on to any one else!) And seem to block myself from enjoying life because of it! When really I have been put in the situation where I can actually change my way of life and enjoy it! So otherwise I love water, drinking it, swimming in it, I love to cook!!! Like I love to cook, especialy sweets! I make the best cookies!

I just feel so overwhelmed with life, or is that being at the age of 18 I'm expecting too much? Life just seems hard, I feel like I'm winning but never will actually will! I feel honestly depressed at the moment... I can't seem to sort out this stupid disease! xo
