At 8:34pm on November 13, 2008, Lisa Moore said…: Hey girl! I think my calcium is good. to tell you the truth I quit taking it about a week ago cuz it was eating up my stomach and making me sick. RAI was interesting...5 minutes after I got home (at 2:30 pm) from taking the pill the electricity went out until 6:30 a.m and at some point I fell asleep wrong and pinched a nerve in my right shoulder..it is just now getting back to normal 2 weeks later. I also had the flu during my confinement period. It was a battle I do not want to have to fight again...LOL! I am feeling good and my scar is healing well, can't wait to be well enough to come to St. Louis...my Aunt Judi says we will plan to meet...I can't wait!

I can't wait cuz I need a peice of pizza! HAHA! I am feeling a lot better...I think a lot of my emotional days were due to the percoset withdrawal:) Keep in touch! How are you feeling? My tongue feels weird and my right (I had surgery on the right not the left...those silly oxyc's) ear is numb along with a big part of my neck and the darinage tubes? OMG nobody told me how bad that hurt to get those pulled out! lol

At 9:53am on October 17, 2008, Lisa Moore said…: DR. HASN'T GOT TEST RESULTS YET. I'LL PROB BE HERE UNTIL SUNDAY UNLESS I GET LUCKY AND GET OUT SAT. DR. DOESN'T EVEN KNOW HOW MANY LYMPH NODES WERE TAKEN..HE JUST DID A CLEAN SWEEP OF THE LEFT SIDE OF MY NECK. ALONG WITH ONE PARATHYROID THAT WENT TO THE LAB AND MY THYROID. DR. SAID THYROID WAS COVERED WITH CANCER. I'M GLAD I AM FINALLY IN THE HEALING CHAPTER! I SHOULD BE FINDING SOMETHING ELSE OUT TONIGHT. I'LL LET YOU KNOW...THIS LAPTOP IS MY SANITY!

THE ENDOCRINOLOGIST JUST CAME IN AND TOLD ME THAT THE PARATHYROIDS THEY TOOK OUT AND REPLANTED ARE STARTING TO WORK AGAIN! THAT IS EXCITING! SERIOUSLY WHEN I COME TO ST. LOUIS TO SEE MY AUNT (WE USUALLY COME OUT EVERY YEAR) I WANT TO MEET YOU! I THINK THAT WILL BE ALSO AN AMAZING PART OF MY HEALING BECAUSE YOU ARE THE FIRST ONE I SPOKE TO ABUT THIS WHEN IT HAPPENED...I COULD JUST BABBLE OREVER...MMMM...PAIN MEDS...HAHA! I WILL TALK TO YOU LATER!

At 9:40am on October 15, 2008, Lisa Moore said…: I'm doing good. Just the typical sore throat and sore neck. They hd to do a lot of cutting in the muscles and they did shock a nerveon the right side of my nck pretty good. So I will be numb for a while. The endo came and talked to me about iodine treatment and it was definitely not as scary as I thought it would be! Thank You for everything Courtney. Even though we haven't met yet, I hope you know what a dear close friend I consider you (sorry about spelling errors i am loaded up on percosets every 4 hours)
