About Me:: Just informed I have Cushings syndrome. (relieved I am NOT crazy!) I have searched for years (about 5) with various doctors & it seems there answer to everything has been to give me a steroid of some kind.(pill, inhallers, shots) Yes I am allergic to everything & that brought on asthma. I have gained about 95 lbs, fatique, bruise easy, don't heal well, among many other symptoms. Doctors have told me everything. This was all in my head, I was depressed from loosing my father to prostate cancer, depressed from loosing my mother to pancriatic cancer, just over weight & need to exercise. Well, I do eat pretty healthy, mostly vegitarian, never fast food, sweets are few & far between, moderate exercise due to pain. In the mean time I did have a daughter on 04/24/07 who was born at 26 weeks rather than 40. I developed pre-eclamsia, h.e.l.l.p. & high blood pressure. (basicly if it could go wrong it did) She weighed only 1 lb & 10 oz, but is healthy. I ate a diet Kris Carr herself would be proud of! Obviously it payed off for my daughter. She is doing fantastic. She is small for her age but will catch up in time the doctors say. At 16 mths old she wears only 3-6 mth old clothing.

Favorite Book:: too many. lately vegan cookbooks & Dr.Suess(my daughters choice)

There is a right way to be healthy (raw food -at least 70%, sleep, exercise...etc). My turning point was watching my tiny daughter fight for life after being born prematurely, and then battle with Autism while I sat on my ass eating vegan junk food.

If you meet yourself with gentleness and grace you would be surprised how these changes become a part of you instead of what you do , they become who you are.

I went to an Anaheim Angels BB game. IT was so much fun... I went with a new friend and he made me feel like a PRINCESS!!! :) Life is good. ITs just the begenning of my journey:) huggs and kisses

There is also a Homeopathic Board that might be able to tell you where to go. It also says that those with Cushings have a blood glucose issue eating every 2 hours are we?

Where I always start is the internet. I would google the hell out of it if I were you and read anything and everything on it. That should start to lead you in the direction of finding some answers. I just found out I have mercury poisoning and that's what has been causing all my hormone problems. It took me forever to find that answer. So google and read and see what you find. I don't know much about it but hopefully you will come across other people who do know something about it.
