About Me:: I'm your average 27 year old, trying to get back into the swing of things!

I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer in November 2007, and was given the clean bill of health a few months ago after two surgeries and radioactive iodine.

Cancer has been well...a real pain in the neck... (no pun intended)! I just gotta remember to not let it get me down.

When I am feeling good, I love to take long walks, shop (a nice pair of heels always cheers me up), head to Starbucks for a good decaf Latte, and just cruise in my beloved car. Kids make me laugh, and bad hair days make me cry. I got some amazing, and positive friends.

There is nothing like curling up in bed and watching the CSI: Las Vegas marathons on tv.

What new meds are you taking....thyroid stuff? Just thrilled that you are feeling so good :) We had a great summer - the trip to Cali and then the kids went to Disneyworld with their dad - my head is still spinning, lol!

Back to school and soccer and the fall routine - I already miss the summer, but it was time, I guess. Feeling good and no complaints. Hey, how far are you from NY - I think I'm going to the meet up - can you get there? Enjoy the weekend and let me know! xoxo

Have you checked out Envi, on Newbury Street?? All eco-friendly clothing - but cute and stylish. Even the hangars are eco-friendly! I did a little retail therapy there recently and am loving my purchases.
