Im 46,living in New Hampshire
My whole life ive been blessed with great health until recently.
Over a period of about 5 years i was diagnosed with serve G.E.R.D ,INCREDIBLE PAIN AND IVE TRIED TO RESTUCTURE MY DIEST AND TAKE PRILOSEC for it.
Then i was diagnosed with high cholesterol my multipliers were 9-1 so they put me on Lipitor,then came high blood pressure and meds for that.
4 herniated discs in my back made exercise difficult for about 5 years
Also in this time there was ACL recontructive surgury and im still dealing with torn miniscus and pending sugury in the right knee.
During the 7 years i've also been working non stop so i could buy a house and consequently put myself at the bottom of my priority list.
i dont fee; sorry for myself or think my issues are close to compareable to what alot of people deal with.
I recently had a close friend ask me if i was happy where im at in my life?
Wow,very introspective and often just receives the pat answer,yes.
Then as i was thinking about this over the week i saw 'Crazy,Cancer,Sexy,'The Diving Bell and The Butterfly' and 'In The Wild';
The answer yes changed because i decided i could take control and discover myself thru issues i figured id live with and just medicate.
Sometimes i think we can lose sight of who we are as we put things out of context to there true importance and im looking to change my life style,thinking pattern and hopefully step away from the mind thought success is measured by your career,material objects and monetary accumulation and remember ive always believed success is measured by the size of a mans heart.
I realize i cant do a complete change on my own and to crate the physical changes required would mean a lifestyle change.so i was hoping this site may help give me some guidance and direction.
I actually purchased a juicer 5 years ago,and it does an amazing job guarding the spot in my cabinet it resides.
id appreciate anyone who might offer some ideas,just words.
