About Me:: Diagnosed with non hodgkin's lymphoma in May 06. Had chemo and have two more treatments of maintenance last one in September 08. Going to get a tatoo after that for my birthday in October.

Have been in remission since July 06. Very sick of tests tests and more tests.

Married and have a son (6) and Daughter (3). Dog Jessie (8)

I'm originally from Canada, have been backpacking half my life. I'm now very settled in beautiful Sydney Australia.

Love handmaking handbags, dabble in screenwriting and other crafty things.

But that's the last of R-CHOP for me. I could dance... if my pelvis wasn't so messed up from the cancer :) I just have ot dance on the one leg only. :) Mobilization is part of the precautions they take for relapse. Basically they want to harvest some of your stem cells at a point when they're sure you're cancer free, that way if you need a bone marrow transplant in the future, it can be from your own cells. I think it's called mobilization because they give you a special round of chemo that I think wipes out your immune system and then they give you a week of neupogen shots to force your bones to produce more stem cells so they can harvest them. It's great you travelled for so long, that's awesome. How do you like Aus; I really found I love it, though sometimes I miss a bit of winter... just a bit of it though.

Thanks for adding me as a friend. I'm originally from North America too; Ohio in the US, just under Canada. We get the winds from your Alberta Clipper in the winter months. Congrats of beating your NHL; I have mine on the run and am just completing my last chemo and about to start mobilisation.

sure we will do that :-) I go to Qi Yoga on the Corso and love it. there are also great natural practitioner... however, i do ashtanga yoga with sam and he is just fantastic... but there are other good teachers as well... have a loook - it' s sooo good for me... ok, gotta go :-) we have a work lunch - enjoy the sunny day!!!
