About Me:: Single mom of two fabulous kids. Just lost my dad to liver cancer 3 weeks ago. I was able to fly out to San Diego to stay in hospice with him. Oh, and I of course showed up to his room in a "FUCK CANCER" t-shirt that I made the night before. He loooved it! I told him that I made a shirt for him and when I read what it said to him, I got a smile! He was a rock & roll audio/visual guy with some awesome tatoos! Flowers just were not going to cut it! I played our song, "Roundaout" by YES. When he heard it, he asked where the baby was (meaning me, I am 38 now), I came to his side, held his hand and sang our song to him. That was one of the good moments that I will hold with me forever, until me meet again. I also gave massages to staff, patients and family while I was there. Helping ease thier pain and elliviate some stress, seemde to help me through my own process. A powerful, life-altering experience. He stopped eating the day I left and passed two days later. A week after my dad's passing, I went to the ER for kidney pains. After a CT without contract (very allergic to it) they found my kidneys full of calcified cysts, calcification on my pelvis, abdomen and lacerations (?) on both of my kidneys and liver. My dad passed of liver cancer which he was diagnosed with last September. I am supposed to go for follow up and ultrasound to determind what the lacerations (?) are and just what is going on in my middle section! No insurance (freelancer), so in the mean time, I am trying to get my little bod as healthy as I can, on every level! I also started writing my first novel and am looking for a program for grief counseling. So, that"s a little bit of me! Oh, still waiting for prince charming! Currently accepting applications!:)

Haven't been here in a couple of, no few minutes. I tried my best to shut things down and move on....as all said I should. I am on chapter 4 of the novel. I have lost nearly 20bs w/o trying. I was 5' 2' when my dad passed and 137lbs. I am curretly 120lbs. Haven't grown, so, you do the math. No longer a blog virgin!

So, here we go! This is my first ever blog! I don't know what is about to be blurted out on this page, but am feeling the need to write. Gee, Heath, why not work on your novel? Or, maybe some new poetry? Nope! Blocked on both counts! I tried, no scratch that, planned on going to a grief group last night for my first time. Didn't quite make it. I know it has been a while.. but I thought I would be able to pull something out of my rear. No way.. The problem is I have no tests or medical exam info to send.. do you have any of that kiind of thing I can send to emory or somewhere.. How is everything else going.. I know this is dragging .. I am glad all the rest got worked out.. So lets see about those test.. We need to get you checked out and the longer it takes well that is just not good.. Didn't want you to think I forgot.. I am just being stonewalled .... SO there are some indegent clinics which you are clearly not in that category but we may have to go thru them to get you some care.. so send me an update or give me a call.. It is crazy... but life is good. We are blessed and everything that happened as always come out with a blessing on it.. Mom has a new insulin pump and is doing great. Deb my sister is coping but she and her hubby are pulling together and doing better than ever, all duncan's meds were changed this week and although we have been on lockdown trying to get him settled it worked and he is out of pain and not siezing for ten hours.. hurrah.. so life is good. I had two emergencies.. my sister lost her baby well the baby died and then she went awol so we had to find her.. finally duncan got the police to low jack her phone and found her did the surgery to remove the baby and then mom finally got out of the hospital.. she had to have an insulin pump so we had to go thru that then duncan has been siezing but I am still working on getting everything ironed out. I will call you tonight. Sorry for having to drop everything but life fell apart.. you know how that is.. Now we can get this week handled and have you healthy wealthy and wise.. sorry I couldn't call I have been living at my moms and have not had my gear except my little 4x5 cards with emorys contacts on them.. how are you everything ok..
