My husband is Kevin, my 12yr old daughter is Mikaila, my 9 year old is Brendon, and my youngest son will be 5 tomorrow. I'm surprised that they found some leukemia cells, but aren't worried. Do they think the body will just get rid of them? It's so strange how doctors approach this. My other friends with AML have all had different treatments, even though we have the same disease. My doc said that if I relapse, the next step would be a BMT- but since I don't have a full sibling, they would do the auto... whatever, I can't spell it. I just pray I don't relapse. I'm glad life is turning back to a "new normal" for your sis, and for you. Sending you a hug. , by the way, what is your sister's name? I pray for her, but I keep referring to Leah's sister....

I'm praying for her transition back into a life without chemo. it was so strange, but every single transition brought fear and uncertainty, even upon leaving chemo. Life just changes after this, and I can honestly say that i've grown so much closer to my Almighty Savior during this. It's hard to go back to real life. Though I am very grateful to be doing so. I'm praying for her healing, for her joy, for your insight and strengthened faith. May we meet as sisters before our King and proudly proclaim His Goodness! xx back at ya.
