About Me:: I'm an L.A. girl by birth, but am currently living in Sydney, Australia with my boyfriend. Last year I was diagnosed with Burkitts Lymphoma, a type of leukemia. After enduring 6 months of intense chemo, I've been in remission from leukemia for a little over a year now, and feeling fabulous! I truly believe a positive attitude and a diet of whole foods are mainly to thank for my current status. I'm so glad I've found ths community of others that are like-minded, and feel passionately about being healthy- physically, mentally, and spiritually.

What's your personal mission statement?: Nothing ever happened in the past that can prevent you from being present now; and if the past cannot prevent you from being present now, what power does it have?

I'm good though - I have finished my job (relief) and am set to head up to Byron in a couple of weeks to repair and embrace the beach lifestyle! How is your recovery going? Are you back in Oz yet? I have to say I am a bit nervous about leaving my friends and family behind, but really feel that it is a positive move - Just to chill out for a few months, maybe a year or maybe forever!
