About Me:: 29 YEAR OLD MOTHER, MARRIED TO THE MOST WONDERFUL MAN ON EARTH! WE HAVE A 6 1/2 YEAR OLD SON NAMED MAVERICK JAKOB AND A 4 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER NAMED LIBERTY ALYSSA. I AM A HOMEMAKER AND MY HUSBAND IS A FIREFIGHTER/EMT. I WAS DIAGNOSED OCTOBER 1, 2008 WITH MALIGNANT THYROID CANCER THAT HAS METASTESISED TO MY LYMPH NODES. I HAVE SURGERY OCTOBER 13, 2008

Thanks for replying to my post...I had my surgery 3 weeks ago and I'm doing well..and yes it was a pity party. For the most part I'm over it...What the heck is AZO???

At 11:38pm on November 12, 2008, Ilana said…: I didn't have thyroid cancer, but I did have a thyroidectomy. My parathyroids stopped working right away, and its been almost a year since my surgery. So, I'm on calcium for the rest of my life. 10 pills a day, not to mention all the other crap I take. But you know what? Believe it or not you get used to it!! And taking pills is so much better than not being here at all!!! Here's to a great recovery to you and good luck with those darn parathyroids!!
