i know what you mean about talking with people who really understand. it just feels so much better when someone else GETS it. well, i am here for you as you walk beside your daughter in this difficult, yet hopeful journey.
peace, love and jumping for joy!
kelly
i know that ton of bricks very well. as a mother it doesn't seem to ever go away completely either. my son was sick with some a little bit of vomiting and then diarrhea for 3 days and nights. it seemed like the flu but i can never be sure with his radiation colitis, and it is hard to figure out, even for the doctor. we have to wait and see at first which i really can barely stand. thank God he started feeling better last night, i am feeling so relieved! it is so stressful and takes so much out of me, which most people in the real world can't understand. but i know you can! no matter how old our children are they are still our babies! it is stressful when he misses school and then has to work so hard to keep up plus do his makeup work.
then i had to fight with the insurance company to get his annual MRI at Children's Hospital. they want us to go to an outside radiology place but when we have tried that in the past the doctors at Children's can't really get a good comparison. the insurance company has been good over the years but right now they have a very strict medical director and it really frustrates me! i am even the office manager at tyson's primary care doctor's office and she will call him and plead my case and still sometimes he says no to things. this time i was able to get the MRI at Children's and i am so grateful to God!!!
i will continue to pray for ang and for your strength. i know you love your daughter more than life itself!
peace, love and a mother's heart,
kelly

hi marilyn! i got your prayer request and my prayers for your beautiful daughter are flying up to God's ears! i doubt you happened to have read my bio but i too am a mom of a cancer survivor and i KNOW your fears and concerns. i too trust God's plan for my son's life. it's our natural motherly instinct to want our children to live a long and healthy life without them or us having to worry. i know how much every test, of any kind, he has, takes out of me so i will be praying for your strength and your peace and for her peace, and strength and a completely CLEAN colonoscopy!!!!! keep us posted when the test comes back negative!
peave, love and grace,
kelly
