I am having surgery (next week, yikes!) for a nodule on my thyroid that is suspicious for papillary thyroid cancer. But thanks to Kris the "c" word is a little less scary... I've been on a total crazy sexy lifestyle makeover (yes instead of going out for drinks I have my daily green juices and sessions on my rebounder!)

Hi there!
I saw your post on beauty products where you said you were a beauty editor. I have been on cosmeticsdatabase.com and saw the scary reality that some of the products I was using were horrible for me. I went to Whole Foods and they TOTALLY pointed me in the wrong direction (one of the products they told me to buy was a 7). I have dry skin, but my t-zone is oily. What would you recommend when it comes to: a. facial cleanser b.spf facial moisterizer c. night moisterizer.

Yes get that juicer going becuase after all we're still taking pharmaceutical drugs which are toxic even though they keep us alive, well me at least, Congrats on keeping one lobe!!

how have you been? I was reading your comment about the corporate world and stress etc, I'm there too, why oh why am I still in this cubicle I ponder multiple times a day, but now I have an ocean view at least. How was your pathology?

Ah...I like how you look to the positive! Sometimes it's tough to do.
I went back to work the Monday after surgery, but I work from home (IT/customer service). I worked on emails and such. I have started taking live calls again, but I get weak and hoarse within a few hours. Ugh.

My job is getting antsy too about me returning to my full status. Follow your gut instincts, us women have the special 6th sense... it works wonders for me! <3 I am here if you need to vent or anything!

Hi Michelle! Wow, you're lucky yours is so tiny! Mine is probably 4". I wear a lot of very light, pretty kerchiefs, that I've coincidentally been collecting for many years! I also just discovered I can wear a pendant on a ribbon that covers it. If I'm then going to actually sit in the sun, I throw on a loose rolled up light kerchief over it, just to be safe. It's actually been kindof fun working with this sun/scar issue!

Hi Michelle! I'm not sure when your surgery was but I wanted to let you know that I had mine Feb 15 & yesterday my friend couldn't even find my scar! Of course I can see if clearly but I will say I am pleased with it. I figure if it looks like this now, even I won't be able to see it in a year! I naturally have a few lines in my neck which runs in my family, so I had the doc do the incision in one of the lines. Hell, at least now I can say it's a scar & not a wrinkle! ( : At any rate, I hope you're doing well. I have RAI June 24th.

I had to tell you, but I went to Sephora and picked up the Lavanila handcream. I got the coconut one...oh it is SO yummy! (and I feel good that it's not chemical crap either)! My mother liked it as well and ordered some off of HSN.com. Just had to tell you...
