This is how I started my crazy, sexy lifestyle last year: a few months after I decided to clean out my bod and clean up my lifestyle, my lymph therapist told me about this documentary she saw the night before about a girl, who is my age, that finds out she has liver cancer on Valentine's Day. She had already told me many times about Dr. Young and live blood, and green drinks and juicing. She recommended that I watch it... but she couldn't think of the name. Fast forward a few weeks (months?) later. I am channel surfing and see this beautiful girl showing her calendar with the red heart drawn on Valentine's Day. So I immediately DVR'd it. I watched it, restarted it, and watched it again.

Serendipity, baby.

August? Reeeeeally?

It is August already?? I feel like a kid that's been outside playing all day (for 2 months) and it's time to come in for dinner... I don't want to, Mom! Just 10 more minutes (2 more months)... pleeeeeeeeeease??? August means the near-end of the garden, back to school shopping, homework, getting dark early. Yuck, yuck, yuck. I need to take a little break...

Friends, As much as I love CSL and everyone here, I am taking a much needed break. I have been away for a few days (sort of as a test) and it has made a world of difference for me and my family. I need to keep my priorities in order. Family first. And while I haven't been a 24x7 CSL'er, I still feel that I am spending too much time here online. When we went there in April the hospice nurse thought he wouldn't last very long and we got a whole wonderful month with him. But it seems like he's starting to slip now. So I will probably be heading back there soon.

I hope to spend a lot of time at Lake Sheridan this summer. We will have to get together!

I'm just afraid if I let them take my left ovary, then my right one will go haywire and then it will have to go, and then I'll be 34 years old and in menapause. I can't take HRT cuz of the endo. I will be praying my heart out until the surgery. Praying for clarity, and making the right decision.
