About Me:
Married mother of 3 - two girls (17 & 12) and a boy (8). Children are from previous marriage(s). I enjoy reading lately more than usual and I've always enjoyed various types of puzzles - you know, to keep the mind sharp. I also take pride in making a great meal for my family and friends and can't wait to get back to that energy level.

I have lived in Michigan my entire life and am proud of that. But lately, our economy has tanked and it's not the best place to be. The automotive companies and their suppliers have moved so many jobs out of the country, from engineering to administrative. The housing market, as with the rest of the country, has taken a dive and our homes are no longer worth what they were just a couple years ago.

I've been off work since August due to surgery, but by trade I'm an Account Executive in specialized benefits industry. I expect to return the 2nd week of November.

Recently diagnosed with Stage Ic ovarian cancer. Radical hysterectomy in late August and started chemotherapy just this month (October).

You are tender, romantic, and shy. You have great compassion, grand dreams, and are the type of person often described as "in love with love." Pinks love art, music, great literature, beauty, and romance. They are generous with their money, giving much to charity, and often work in the arts.

Kudzu Root
(Fabaceae Pueraria lobata)
Properties/Action: Alexeteric (alcohol, drug poisoning), antemetic, antiarrhythmic, anticancer, anticonvulsant, antidiarrheal, antihyperglycemic, antihypertensive, antioxidant, antipyretic, antispasmodic, antiviral, capillary protectant, cardiotonic, cerebral vasodilator, circulatory stimulant, coronary vasodilator, decreases the desire for alcohol, demulcent, diaphoretic, diuretic, emetic, follicular hormone effect (due to: daidzein, genistein and formononetin), galactogogue, nervine, refrigerant, sialagogue.

Kudzu has been used in the Orient for over 2,000 years as a food; rich source of starch and as an effective remedy in natural medicine. It helps digestion, reduces blood ressure, treats colds, intestinal ailments, and alcoholism with all of its resulting health problems. Starch derived from Kudzu Root contains a high amount of iron, a fair portion of calcium and phosphorus, and a little sodium. Interestingly, it has more calories per gram than honey, but unlike honey, which is quick burning sugar, Kudzu is a long staining source of energy in an organism. A recent research made in Medical School of Harvard confirmed that Kudzu reduces craving for alcohol as much as 90%. Daidzin, isoflavone is a compound of Kudzu that causes repression of alcohol consumption. The extraordinary results of the use of Kudzu Root gives a hope to many who suffer from an alcohol addiction.

Kudzu is also effective for hangover, angina pectoris, arteriosclerosis, boil, chicken pox, common cold symptoms, dermatitis, diabetes mellitus, diarrhea, dysentery, excessive thirst, fever, headache, hyperglycemia, hypertension, influenza symptoms, migraine, nausea, psoriasis, sinusitis.

Far out eh? xoxo, b

Thought I felt a presence when I walked into my healing house, and it was a present, you! Hi friend! I am very exhausted and having a lot weighing on me right now. Just pray. It is very, very cold in GA and its raining cats and dogs, not the pretty kind that makes relaxing noise, so my household pets are all up in arms and mud-dy! Oi! One has addisons disease and it hurts him, Boo, my mixed breed, to get cold or walk on the grass when its like this. Ga soil does not absorb rain. It floods everything and even the streets. Our infrastructure is so pathetic, old solid trees fall and big pits just open up to swallow things like cars and houses with no warning. Like walking in the woods in the Wiz of Oz. (No offense to my fav medical wiz, Dr. Oz of course. Having a lot of pain, trying to wrap my head around stuff and figure out how to get all the tests/crap lined up so I can tell my family some things. Basically pretty rough. Spending some of my time building a site on My Space, the 'inner sanctum' if you will, of Rivendell. Once designed and perfected it will be joined to my site here, so you will feel like you just breezed from one to the other, like going to the altar of Rivendell. Only friends allowed. No toxic energy allowed in my sanctuary/library. It will be so...way...too cool. Even I need to have my kids help me with this venture, its gotten a bit more complicated. I want books you can click on that I'm reading and you'd get a synopsis link to let you read a bit. Too cool...now if only the smell of incense would come out, gonesh #2, my favorite...look out Gates, PQs on the move...and when I'm rich, you and me will take a trip! LOLOL, I pray all is settled down at your dwelling. My sister heart, have a great, love-filled weekend and yes you are loved in Rivendell. Muahs and blessed be, *~* Bren

Hi Audrey!

Thanks for thinking of me. My surgery went well. The recover is going slow, but it's going. I'm not in a ton of pain anymore, just some pain. Mostly the nausea and fatigue is what's getting to me.

How are you doing?
