I am a 30 years old and was just diagnosed with a breast cancer for the second time around. The cancer has spread to my sternum and liver. I told the cancer that once was enough and I was good to go, but it didn't listen to me. I was first diagnosed at 24 and underwent surgeries, chemo and radiation. I was coming up to my 5 year mark when I found out the cancer had spread. I am doing whatever it takes to stay healthy for me and for my daughter Olivia.

Hi Allison,
I read your profile and I was wondering how radiation was for you? I have had two major surgery but the cancer came back. I never even got a break...my last surgery was just three months ago. The doctor said I will need radiation, surgery, and chemo. I am kind of worried, but I am thankful I still have options.
Alison, welcome to CSL. OK, I saw your picture with your little One and had to comment ...adorable. My wife was due yesterday with our first. Baby will be here any day now and we're very excited!

It's tough when you are so young and it's a shock. But when you have a plan and are ready to move forward, it gets easier. Now that I have a daughter, this diagnosis is so different. I'm sure that you understand with your beautiful little one. But Olivia helps me to get through the tough times and reminds me that I need to beat this disease again. Chemo's tough and when you need help from other people, ask for it. YOU CAN KICK CANCER'S ASS!!!
please give me some insite on how you handled yourself when you got the news at age 24....i am 25 and about shitting my pants!! it was a total surprise! your daughter is beautiful! her and my baby could be buddies!
