why i'm here

I am here in support of my dad. Over a year ago he was diagnosed with throat cancer. After radiation and chemo treatment, he was able to get rid of it. It recently has resurfaced in his lungs, and he has just finishing his second round of chemo, and is doing great.

My mom is a survivor of cervical cancer. Her mother past away about eight years ago from cancer of the uterine lining. My other grandmother is a survivor of ovarian cancer. And her husband (my grandfather) is a survivor and fighter of skin and neck cancer.

Reading other survivors' stories really keeps my spirits up.

I also believe that nutrition and lifestyle has a major impact on your health, and kris' book and movie aren't just for people dealing with canser, its for everyone.
