About Me:: Dx with Sll/Cll (lymphoma/leukemia) in 2006-incurable canser.
Chemo 2007 and after a 4 month reprieve the dragon is back.
Going to try Kris's way of living for 6 months and hold off treatment until then. Wish me luck!!

Sorry it has taken so long to get back with you... Well what have I been doing? Mostly changing my attitude, I mean I have REALLY kept a very postitive thought pattern. I don't let the wicked "chatterbox" get the best of me anymore. I also don't use the alarm clock anymore, I am self employed so I can do this it might be hard for others to do that, but I get up when I wake up.

I have also changed my eating habits, not as much as my thought pattern but yes I juice, take supplements, and I have been shakin' my ass on a mini tramp.

I thought maybe it was all hype. My experience once we decided to go for an evaluation visit was wonderful. Every time we go we meet people who were given no hope at home and are receiving treatment there and doing well. I have had several family members travel with me on various trips. I remember my brother telling me at the end of our trip together that he had expected to see a sad and depressing place. He was so impressed. It truly is a place of hope and encouragement I'd be happy to answer any questions you have about it. I'd be happy to add you to my friends list and keep in touch. By the way, I love your name Dragon Slayer. I assume that dragon is cancer? Nice to meet you.

I am W&W, tho my local hem talked about removing my spleen "tho I know you won't like that". He was right. I didn't and am still doing OK. I am a wuss I guess. I have a real fear of doctors.

I also saw Kipps about three years ago after dx, after going up to Stanford. I liked him as a person. He wanted me to come back in three months but I haven't gone yet. It sounds like you have had multiple BMB's so I'm guessing he is watching you very closely. Is he talking about Campath?

I'd like to support you too if I can. Thanks for saying that. Another CLLer told me that 'it takes one to know one' and I think that is true on some level though we are all so different.
