At 9:13am on March 15th, 2008, nancy said…: Hey Claudia, couln't resist dropping a "Howdy". I have a Beagle/LAb who's going to be 16 this April. She is as fit as a fiddle, and yesturday I took her to the alkaline lakes to walk her off leash. She loves it, she bounces around through the tall lake grasses, and I giggle at her big Beagle ears flopping around. However, she was a little frisky (it was nice and warm and sunny out) and she bounded ahead of me. Needless to say, she went left, I went right, and before long, she and I were going in circles trying to reconnect. (Oh, did I mention she's deaf, and I can't call for her. I use hand signals, WHEN SHE SEES ME) Man it was so funny watching her looking for me, sniffing for me, and trying to get to her. I had a great walk, and an awsome giggle with her yesturday. Love the silly joys from the aging pets!!
