About Me:: I was diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer in November 2006. I have had mets to bones, brain and liver. I have been on Chemo since January 2007. I'm currently on Alimta. I had Gamma Knife for my brain tumors. I wouldn't let them do whole brain radiation and I'm glad I didn't. I carry a morphine pump in my abdomen that keeps my lower spine from being in muscle spasm constantly. I highly recommend this device for anyone suffering from bone pain.

What's your personal mission statement?: I will never give up nor surrender to cancer.

Anyone can just give in, but it takes a true hero or heroine to fight and to win, no matter what the obstacle!

I have breast cancer with mets to just about everywhere (brain, bones, lungs, liver and pericardium) and I told them I don't want to know how long they think I have to live. There is ALWAYS hope. And now I'm proving them all wrong by getting better without the chemo and radiation. They also wanted to do whole brain radiation on me, they said I had too many lesions for the gamma, then another doc told me gamma was perfect for me! they can't even agree amongst themselves! But I learned that over half of my brain tumors have vanished so i decided not to do either. There are natural ways to get better. When I started on the protocol I am on now I was bed ridden with bone pain and now I have no pain, just fatigue. Keep on keepin' on!! Don't give up!

My father had lung cancer and reading all the things that you are going through was like going over his history. He had Small B Cell with mets to .... well, everywhere. He never once gave up and got treatment up until a week before he died. Stay strong!
