I love my Klean Kanteen! I'm still trying to convert Tom and his kids, but with the price it's hard to buy a bunch at once.
I hope your cleanse goes well. When are you heading to France?

How are things in LA? Pretty rainy here - we havent had much of a break for a couple of weeks.
How goes the anti-plastic campaign? I'm doing well with it. Even getting my partner (Tom) invloved. I've been searching for glass alternatives to tupperware - have you found any?
I hope you are well!

I was relying on Ativan to get to sleep from March 2007-March 2008(after my cancer diagnosis); I was taking 2mg at night. This caused me to get the 'shakes' in the afternoon(withdrawal effect) as it got closer to the time for my next dose. The Ativan worked great, except for that annoying side effect everyday. Oh--also, I had NO dreams that entire year on Ativan. Anyway, all that caused me to wean off it in March.
I take 3 mg melatonin, 500 mg calcium supplement, and 250 mg magnesium at night an hour before bed. My job forces me to get up between 3-3:30 AM 3-4 days a week. This really messes up my sleep, and on the nights where I am NOT getting up that early, a lot of times I have to take a couple of benadryl and occasionally .25 Ativan as well, to make up for lost sleep. On the nights that I am waking early the next day, I wake frequently throughout the night. I might as well be not sleeping at all.
I have always had trouble sleeping, and my job and my cancer diagnosis has only caused it to become worse.
Not sure that this is any help to you at all.
Teresa
Hope you have a great time!
I decided to give the eye patch a run.
I must admit, I felt mostly ok with the patch on. I didn't feel as tired as I would otherwise. After having it on for a couple of hours though, I could not really take it off. My double vision was horrible. I think the eye patch makes my brain give up on trying to keep things in alignment. Once I took it off, I could not regain focus.
After a good night sleep though, all was back to normal.
I think for now, I will reserve the pirate look for when I am really tired and will be giving up my right eye for the day.

It fits behind my glasses. It works well and feels comfortable.
