Congrats on your most excellent progress with the green juices! One week down, whew! You will see as you get more and more into it that it becomes your addiction and takes the place of the toxic ones.
As for the coffee addiction, some suggestions are green tea, which has caffeine but is an amazing antioxidant and extremely healthy, or Yerba Mate, which contains a natural stimulant similar to caffeine, but without the heart palpitations and jitteryness. You can try one of those when the caffeine withdrawal gets really bad, but try to work through it as best you can. In due time your body will adapt and you won't need the caffeine any longer.
And stay away from the diet Coke at all costs! Avoid it like the plague- it has nutrasweet, which is a toxic poison, as well as acids which leach calcium from your bones and strip the enamel from your teeth. It will take the paint off a car, so can you imagine what it's doing to your insides?
keep in touch..
Hugs,
Rebecca :)
sorry your message puzzled me?
A classic day for me is a green juice in the morning, then a small amount of raw cereal with berries for breakfast, a green smoothie for lunch, another green juice late afternoon, then a big salad for dinner. Sometimes another juice in the evening if it's not too late.
The best tip I have is to make sure you vary your veggies so you get all your aminos. Eat hemp seeds- they're a complete protein and they're delicious. Quinoa is another complete protein. Soaked nuts are also high in protein and good fats. Avocados and coconut oil- more good fats.
So many great, healthy, yummy things to eat, so change it up. Enjoy!
Yes, absolutely I was being monitored every 6 months without fail. I was a good girl and followed everything my doctors told me to do to the letter. The problem is that what they told me is that if I had my surgery and radiation, took my tamoxifen, and had my scans, I'd be "cured". This is wrong in my opinion. It didn't address the cause of the cancer and I went back to my unhealthy diet and lifestyle, which included too many martinins and way too much stress.
Cancerous cells that spread are in many cases too small to be detected on imaging until they manifest themselves in another organ.
The best preventative medicine is addressing the cause of the cancer and bringing the body back to it's optimal level of function.
There are many things that are beyond our control, but the way we think and the way we eat are two ways we can make the biggest impact on our health!
