I am also triple negative although not quite as young as you - I was 42 when diagnosed in July '07.
I also did the recommended chemo and also did the radiation although I agonized over that decision for a good month before agreeing to it. The only reason I did was that I was working with a great naturopathic oncologist who made be feel comfortable that I could protect myself from the damage by doing certain things. I also worked with naturopaths while getting my chemo at the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Zion, IL.
I'm really sorry to hear that they found another mass. Since I finished treatment, my thought has been that if I had a recurrence my first call would be to Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez in NYC who treats cancer with nutrition and LOTS of supplements including tons of pancreatic enzymes. He's had a lot of success, even treating metastatic cancer.
I do take enzymes and have eliminated most meat and dairy (but not all) from my diet. I eat a ton of vegetables and a healthy amount of fruit. I still work with the naturopathic oncologist who had done some genetic testing to see where my weaknesses may be. For instance, my body at a cellular level handles stress very badly, so he has me on specific things to help that, as well as on many other general cancer fighters. I also go to another naturopath who is closer to where I live for IV infusions of mega doses of vitamin C ever 2-3 weeks.
Sorry I'm not very specific but there is just so much to say so if you have any specific questions, please let me know. Don't get discouraged, there is so much you can do!
welcome, debbie
Peace!
