About Me:: I'm a writer living in Santa Fe. Discovered Kris while I was on hiatus between book projects and was lazily channel surfing. Now I'm hooked on her blog and this fantastic community. My passion and expertise that is compatible with this group is right livelihood work. Anyone who would like a free copy of my first book Find Your Calling, Love Your Life, please let me know. I am sorry that I haven't been able to respond back to you for such a long time.

Basically I got involved with the HSUS by becoming close friends with Paul Shapiro, the director of the factory farming campaign. So last summer I was taken on as an intern in the campaign out in DC. It was a wonderful experience, and it cemented my desire to make this a "life's work."

I returned to college after the summer for my final semester (I had a strange December graduation), however, before leaving HSUS, I made it very clear that I intended to spend my next 50 years working for them.

Then after visiting Costa Rica and meeting Kris and Brian, I was asked to join a conference call with Wayne Pacelle, Mike Markarian, and several others and they personally offered me a job as an Outreach Coordinator in Colorado. Needless to say it was an amazing honor and a moment that I'll never forget.

Now, it has been 6 months and the experience has been even better than I could have ever imagined.
