I can't thank you enough for the DCIS link to breastcancer.org. I had not seen that before and I just poured through it and learned a ton. This after 3 surgeons visits over two months. None of them gave me any information like that! In fact, I didn't get any information at all. What I know is totally trhough the Internet. What a total godsend you are!

How are you doing these days? Did you not get a mastectomy afterall?

Thank you for your comments about Pablo crazy horse, he's teething at the moment bless him. Why is it you cant wait for them to go to bed and then when they do you cant wait to pick them up again and give them a hug?

I'm meant to see my surgeon again next wk, I think I'm doing well thanks. Its the psychological and emotional thing that gets me the most I think.

I think we should have a UK get together I would love to meet you all - wot do you reckon?

At 12:00pm on April 15th, 2008, Suzan St Maur said…: The other thing I do when I go for anaesthesia is to write in large biro letters "NO SHARPS HERE" on my left hand (have slight lymphoedema in that arm after mastectomy.) Always gets a laugh from the "gas workers" (anaesthetists) but I'll bet one day some idiot will still try to stick a needle in there...!!

I am still laughing out loud at your cancer comic strip april blog - I can totally realte to the canulla problems - I have five people have a go last time and when I joked it was becoming a party no-one laughed!!! Well I guess thats because Cancer is so serious and definately not a laughing matter :-> (said in mock stern voice - teacher style!)
Anyway - thanks for joining the UK group
we may have enough people for a party one day!
