I’m a NYC-living, animal loving, veggie eating, daughter of a crazy sexy survivor, and wife of the most amazing man in the world. Currently I am working on my dissertation, where I am exploring hospital environments and the physical environment's effect on how people cope with illness. When my books are down, my life is full of walks in Central Park with my love, inventing new enrichment activities for our two kitties, Bikram yoga, and ballet (which I just got inspired to learn again after 18 years away from the barre).

Hi Julie! Can you believe the weather?
So my kitties seem to be happy to be reunited with their mama! They're enjoying getting fur everywhere and making lots of noise in the litter box at night. I got the litter you recommended and it seems to be better than the other stuff I had. I still wish they knew how to use the toilet :)

hey Julie, I know, the computer does make the world seem sooooooo small! especially on CSL because everyone is so nice.
I danced for about 6 years, but then stopped when I was doing my final exams at school last year. i do miss it though and wanted to go back, but know I have joined my local gym and go to combat classes and yoga / pilates.
I always hear so much about bikram yoga but it seems a little scary, i am only beginning my yoga practice, but am already addicted! Whats it all about?
you should definitely do some contemporary dance, and if you do or have done ballet, you will pick it up really quickly, its so similar, but not so controlled as ballet.

I wasn't productive either, but my supervisor at the hosp. called and said that tomorrow we won't get outpatients because of the jewish holiday -- so I get the day off to read, read, read!!

My parents strolled into town today to drop off not one but both my kitties, and already the fur is spreading! Help! Do you have any tips to control the fur? Was the kitty litter you suggested called The Best Cat Litter in the World? Where do I find it?

Yes, my daughter Kristin loves the book & said she wants to go with me next time! Yes! Making progress with her!
Thanks for the compliment on the shirt...I have to tell you: It is a Norma Kamali 100% organic tee and It cost me $6 at WalMart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There, I said it! Isn't that amazing??!!
