I was diagnosed with infiltrative duct cell carcinoma in March 07. The picture of me is from when I attended a spiritual event, The Spring Goddessfest, and it was taken about 1 month after my surgery. I opted to do chemo along with complementary medicines. I finished the chemo in Nov. 07, and have continued on a giant cocktail of herbs and homeopathic remedies. I feel great! The doctors want me to take Tamoxifen but I have chosen to now go completely alternative. I know in my heart that this is what my body needs to keep healthy. I have a wonderful group of women in my spiritual group who I practice with regularly. They have been so supportive through my entire journey with the big C. I have an 11 year old daughter, and I know deep in my soul, I will be around to raise her. I have had many blessings come to me during my journey. I have learned so much about myself and am, in a very strange way, grateful to have had this journey. I appreciate everyone in my life and every day I have to live to the fullest.

All hail warrior women!!! I went in today for my 1st round of lab results since chemo and all went really great. My CEA and CA15-3 both dropped and the CBC was totally in line. Thank you everyone for all your thoughts and prayers.
Hi Karen, It's me again, I was wondering if you could give me some info on the IntroMax your taking. It sounds wonderful and it looks like it has everything. I was just looking for some more info on it. Thanks so much. Blessings... Mandi
You mentioned in your bio you have skipped the Tamaxofin and you are using homeopathic remedies instead. Would you mind e-mailing me and sharing your regimen? Any information you provide would be greatly appreciated.
I stopped taking Arimidex two days ago, after using it for a year. I did not undergo chemo, because the Onco-DX study I was enrolled in randomized me to Arimidex only treatment.
I'm kind of lost right now, wondering what I should do.
I agree with you Karen. Twelve years ago I started a unique food supplement as I had been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Today, at 56, I feel great and tonight just got done playing an awesome game of tennis! I chose not to take the medications for MS. It just didn't make sense to me to destroy my immune system. Today I have a healthy immune system and am symptom free of the MS issues.
Hi Karen I was looking at your protocal and am very interested in IntraMax. I am confused at what supplements to take and this one seems to have it all. I do take herbs and they can get expensive and this one has the herbs and vitamins. I appreciate anything you can tell me. Thanks so much!!! Mandi
How are you? Hopefully blessed*
Yes I kno...I definitley have my hands full...BUT I love it. I am slowly comin to luvin the Journey that ahead of me.
Its kinda hard right now on choosin a treatment that best fits me. Im leanin toward natural healing...Its just that I guess after that first treatment on the 14th...It scared me ever so much. The very next night I was sick, going in for my injection to help rebuild the wht/Red Blodd cells within Bone. I didnt even go back for the second injection. I was that afraid and Sick. I felt that the cancer has lost its chance of attackin me, and that the chemo was going to have its way.
BUT Hey! I am sooo sure I'll find my way through it all. Im currently reading Crazy Sexy Cancer Tips. And Im lovin it! Waitin for the DVD to be sent.
YES Im def. doin the Juices and plenty of veggies! I still have the urge to sneak a lil no no foods. Im prayin to be totally Vegan by the end of this year?? I guess? I hope?? LOL
Thanks for your TIME.

My name is Mia and I was diagnosed with stage III breast Cancer. I was wondering if you could possibly ease my thoughts on making a decission about my treatment plan.*
Karen - Thanks so much for the info on DIM and Myomin. I forgot to ask if you would tell me where you get it...I want to shop for the best price and most reliable producer. I'll go look at the discussion also. I also really want to know if I will be in menopause when I start taking these....Could you tell me what your experience has been...could be that chemotherapy put you into menopause..
IPT is insulin poteniation therapy. It is chemotherapy, just 1/10 the dose...Since cancer cells have sooo many more glucose receptors on them, the treatment uses insulin to lower the blood sugar VERY low, which starves the cells, and then delivers a dose of the chemotherapy drugs. The treatment also administers nutrients that help protect the healthy cells. There are doctors in different areas of the united states who do this...I went to Chicago last summer to the doc who I consider the best. If you have time, go visit my blog at

Again, thanks so much for your help and advice. I really appreciate it!
