I am an ex New Yorker who moved to the country about 7 years ago and have never looked back. I am married to a wonderful, loving, and funny man and have 3 "furkids." Cancer snuck up on me in Feb. '08 but I have kicked its sorry ass to the curb. I am cancer free and intend to stay that way and live longer than my grandma did (102) with all my marbles intact. Each day I thank all the deities that I found this amazing community.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can. I was just diagnosed 10/23/08. Papillary thyroid cancer 4.8 centimeter node in the left lobe. I'm also diabetic (Under control) and I'm very concerned about how this how process will effect me.
Ps. I to have 3 "Furkids"... all beagles.

Hi sweetie how are you? I'm doing ok, the first surgery went very well I was recooperating find,but the second surgery kinda kick my ASS I am what they call a difficult intabation,so they really fucked my neck up the second time around, so it is going to take awhile now for me to heal from this. Boy it would really be nice to see you and Terry and Kris that would really boost my sprits maybe in a little while we can put something together, I hope you are doing well say hello to the gilrls for me. You know, I tried exercising Oscar too. I would walk him for a few miles, and while he would get tired it was fleeting. It seemed like it really revved him up!! He is the most hyper-active dog I've ever seen, and I am soooo not hyper. haha!!!!!
