About Me:: Diagnosed with breast cancer in Nov 2007. Went through surgery, chemo, radiation. I have always led an active and healthy lifestyle. I continued to walk and practice yoga throughout treatment. I have run three 5k races since finishing treatment earlier this year. I recently signed up for a yoga teacher training program (power vinyasa yoga) which will begin in Oct 2008.

What's your personal mission statement?: Appreciate the journey in life - - don't always be in fast forward mode. Help other cancer patients realize the benefits of yoga.

OMG!! I did not know this was you!! I am making the suggestion to Corrine that we need nametags with our online avatars (photos) on them since we look so different!! It WAS so great to meet you and I am so glad I had the chance to talk with you, Alli, and Linda before we started the yoga. That was too funny that we saw all the ladies coming out so sweaty and were thinking (hoping) that it was one of those "hot" yoga classess ---- NOT! Then, it was us that was hot...and boy was it awesome.
I truly felt cleansed and am looking for one of these type studios here in VA.

When will you complete your yoga training - you go girl!

I've recently finished chemo but there's no way I could have done it through chemo other than the corpse pose. Haha! Good luck with your yoga teacher's training! Good for you for doing the 5K races!
