When Business Meetings and Food Collide...Watch Out!

This week is our yearly kick off meetings for the company I work for. My main concerns were; Will my presentation in front of my peers go ok, and how am I going to manage my sons schedule while I'm doing 15 hour days, will I appear articulate to our Senior Management Team and all those kind of thoughts. What a difference a week makes....

What a difference a week makes. I am feeling so much better. This place gives me hope and I want to talk a little about lifestyle changes and what that has meant to me: 1. I had the honor of meeting Katrina on CSC and she is my partner in crime in this juicing mission. We had our first toast yesterday (she even got up early so we could do it together! what a trooper). Two Day Funk....

Well, I was going to give myself 3 days to wallow in my latest issues going on (3 days only -read Kris's book) and guess what. I've done a good job of being in a really bad place the last two days, (whining, bitching, crying, pinging friends) and it can't go on another day! Today I will stay busy, do some much needed things around the house, WILL NOT WORK (meaning real job related activities), and will find 30 minutes for myself. Why am I here!

Well first off Mayor Deb has been a BIG NAG in my ass to do this blog thing and today is her day so I figure it's a good day to start. they said I gotta "softball sized cyst" on my left ovary. I need to have surgery to remove it, and since this ovary is always giving me trouble and getting cysts, the doctor wants to remove it. I'm skeeeeeered. But I'm fed-up too. This is the biggest cyst I've ever had. It really hurts. Surgery is scheduled for June 4th. Maybe it will all work out and I'll actually be able to enjoy the summer for once. I'm trying to manifest positive thoughts but I'm really sad right now.
