About Me:: I'm married and have two dogs who are my children. (Shh! don't tell Cesar Millan!) My husband and I are always trying to learn more about maintaining a healthy, quality life. Part of that is learning about the raw living foods, maintaining your ph level, detoxing and all Kris Carr talks about. In our quest for heatlh, it amazed us to see Kris' story on Crazy Sexy Cancer because we were learning all she was learning at the time. How great and inspirational it was to see the progress she made on the show and continues to experience today! In fact, we are seeing great results in my sister-in-law's CAT Scans. What's great about her...is she is like Kris Carr. She is beautiful inside and out, funny, and a real go getter!! She is the kind of person that if you did not have her as a sister-in-law, you would want her for a friend. She is determined to do what it takes to beat her cancer and we will do all we can to help her. We support her 100% and am so grateful to Kris Carr for all she has done to help others. This is a great web site to share and learn from each other and I am very excited to be apart of My Crazy Sexy Life with my sister-in-law Gina.

What's your personal mission statement?: To be the type of person my dog thinks I am. Also, my mission is to constantly learn what I need to do in order to live a long quality life and along the way...help others to achieve the same results.

Oscar is so feeling better today for the most part. He still isn't "regular" yet, but he's not in distress. Hopefully that will come on soon enough. The poor bugger had me quite worried last night, and quite frankly I have enough of everything else to worry about. LOL

AS for juicing and going raw, i'm trying to clean my body of the crap i've put in it over the years and help prevent any recurrences/metastatic spread I don't know if it would help for melanoma per say, but it can't hurt...right? My family history so is not in my favor either. I'm so screwed. LOL I googled and found Jackie and Gideon Graff, I'll be checking them out more in depth this weekend.

You mention the desserts, I found a recipe for raw chocolate balls the other day and they looked simply to die for!!! I need to find it again (i think I saved it to a word document) and try it one day. I would love to take something like that to the next family gathering... lol omg they would croak!
