It's August so decided to give out an update to all my friends as to what is happening on my side of the puter. Another blood tests shows all my levels are perfecto. I am getting back into the swing of things working fulltime from home. There are good things and bad things about working from home but I guess that goes with just about everything in life. The good thing is I have a killer office area. I have a third floor loft in my house that I transformed into an IKEA office back when I moved in. It was sparsely furnished and then I got sick so all decorating ceased because I just didn't have the energy to get to the third floor. Now that I am working again the office is getting decorated cheaply thanks to EBAY. The theme is music and I have resurrected my old violin from all the boxes in the basement bought some chinese flutes and have a saxophone soon to be delivered. I bought these oh so cheap music stands just for decorations and some sheet music to display it on. My recent purchase were a pile of old 45 rpm records and a vintage 1950's record player. It's coming along and being quite an awesome office/music room. The downside to working from home is that it can get very very lonely when you are committed to working an 08 hour day and not interacting with anybody. I have started journalling and finding alot of comfort in it. I never journaled when I was sick and on chemo because I never felt when I was sick it actually defined me so why write about it. This journal is more about the dreams I am currently chasing down and all the energy and new ideas I have floating around in my head. I have journaled off and on from the years always ending in frustrations because it always just let out how much I really hated my parents. That stuff is still in there but there's alot of positive stuff too. As for the hateful stuff I have to admit I'm looking at what I am writing with a different set of eyes and getting some sort of reasoning and comfort in what I am writing even if it is hurtful. The hooray for life celebration is still going strong. Celebration is set for September 27th and so far there are over 90 people coming. Estimated size of the celebration is 150 people so I'm right on target. Weather here in Philly is hot hotter and hottest I do not do well with the sun so I am mostly inside. I am starting to spend more and more time on the ESPN website as I prepare my fantasy football teams for the upcoming season. I have been an avid ESPN fantasy football player since I got my first pc back in 1997. This year I even opened my own group called sports fans with cancer. Opened to those suffering from any kind of cancer and enjoy sports. It's a new group I just started no nibbles yet but I did advertise it here in the forums to try and get some people to join. That's about all the news that's fit to print. Please know that I spend at least one day in prayer for all my friends on this list wishing you all well and that you are all safe.
