I am a 52 year old personal trainer and triathlete diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer 10/10/06. I'm still very active and work and have recently gotten into juicing and radical diet changes. I found out about this sight after I watched and fell in love with "Crazy , Sexy Cancer". I feel upbeat most of the time, but look for support from others with positive stories.

Life at Gerson

Well here I am, day 5 at the Gerson Clinic. Even though I know this is the right thing, I'm getting a little bored. I miss my family and the regiment is so srtict. I have to be so disciplined to follow through when I get home. I know I can do it, because life is definitely worth it. I guess I shouldn't complain about all of the bland food and work that it will take because I know the out come will be good. Hi Judy,
It's great to know that you are doing well: I have total trust in Gerson, no matter what's the condition. Mostly raw helped my mother at 83 to slash cholesterol from 220 to 160 now and now she is doing mostly Gerson to recover from unstable hypertension: she went from 200/100 to current readings of 140 (or 130)/80! It just proves that one can expect great results with Gerson even at 83!!

I know, I totally live in my kitchen (and bathroom) too! My niece and nephew are visiting for the week and they are fascinated and frustrated by my constant juicing and bathroom breaks (thank god they didn't ask too many questions about those. That would be kind of hard to explain to a 12 year old and a 6 year old) I am glad you are doing good. I was just thinking about checking in with you. For me that thyroid stuff was life-saving. My thyroid was completely depleted. Anyhow, I hope your procedure goes well. Have a great weekend!

i went through a round of chelation once. i remember as a child listening to the radio with my mother and there was this guy charleton fredericks, the 50's version of gary null, and he always talked about chelation and how th AMA kept it suppressed, how it could reverse heart problems, etc
remember, this was the late 50's!
i'm sure you have to pay for it out of pocket. i know i did
i'm glad you found a place that will give you vitamin IVs
it occurs to me that you could contact a man named andrew saul, an orthomolecular scientist. he is a main participant in that movie Food Matters, and when i googled him, there was a link to contact him
he could probably give you some advice

what is biogenesis? you know in the film FoodMatters, this guy says the greatest thing. he says asking for nutritional treatment from your doctor is like asking for chinese food in a french restaurant: it isn't on the menu, they don't know how to make it and you're not going to get it
your onc is a french restaurant!

i got that video Food Matters and it's brilliant. in the section on cancer, they talk a lot about very high dose vitamin C IV. all caner partients should demand them from their docotrs

well, A is a whole nother problem. he should leave on friday. he's put the deposit on the RV. tomorrow i'll wire a payment to the clinic. we need two drivers and a nurse willing to travel
i think it will be a harrowing trip. i wish he could fly but he is in such bad shape and he can't sit
at least inthe RV, he will have a bed and the two drivers can take shifts
who knows if this is the right thing to do? will the trip kill him?
but he's going to be dead in a couple of months anyway and its not like he's comfortable where he is

in the past week, his feet have started to hurt like hell- more peripheral neuropathy from cistoplatin or from the lymphedema- and they can't control the pain with morphine even

so we are just plunging into the void

tammy glessner is there already. she usually sends us an update everyday over to icurecancer.com. so if you want to check on how she feels about the place, you can look there

i can't wait for you to talk more with your gerson doctor

i love that. i can't wait for you and sheila and jill to be all better and tell your doctors what for. you know, my friend A's onc told him that his cancer was "very treatable"
what does that mean? they're all treatable. you can keep treating a person with drug after drugs as long as there's an insurance company that will pay!
he didn't say the treatment would work. he just said it was treatable
have you heard back from your gerson doctor yet?
