About Me:
Well I have been a CSC cowgirl for one year. I have been many things in my life. I have graduated from Culinary School and College several times.. never getting settled until now. My cancer experience and sent me to use my skills as an urban minister. I run a Global advocate center for anyone is a crisis. We work as a unit to try and get peoples lives re-booted and back on life no matter the problem. Other than work. I have been married to my High School sweet heart and been blessed each day. Duncan is so much a part of me I can see him in my hands. I have to say one thing I have no way to explain the love I have for this community. It has been a bell ringer in my life. It has been arrows to change when needed, it has saved my life literally with the lifestyle and fiquartively with the mindset that my sisters and brothers are here. I can come here and someone understands this battle and acceptance of cancer. I love you all so dearly. Now I love to read, love animals and I suppose I am a buddhist, catholic, jewish, presbyterian.. haha.. not your traditional religious but more a spiritual center of a person. I raise Siberian Huskies, and vegan and am one hell of a tough nut when need be. I love with all of me and try to be available. Well I never know what to write on these things so this is it. I am not my cancer I am a sum of the experiences of my life. I have had bone, cervical, lung and lymph and I am going on 28 days of being cancer free for the first time in 7 years. So scans in three months. I cannot wait I have two books I am working on and on speaking tour. My dream is to meet everyone of you. Love Peace and Joy. Callie

I'm thrilled with my new treatment center & onc.!!!
The summer is wonderful...My daughter will be moving out in a few weeks for college! Yikes!
Both my girls are no longer working. My youngest has been enjoying sleepovers & socializing instead of working & I'm so glad.
I'm mostly spending time with my friends and family. And now starting a new chemo regimen...so I'll be busy.

A little note to say good morning and send you and Duncan hugs. How are you both feeling? I think of you often. Your story and your sharing are part of my support and armor. Thank you for that.
I am off to chemo in a bit, number 54, and then to my hometown for the weekend to celebrate my 94 year old grandma. She died on Monday. What a woman she was....I think of her a lot when I am reading about you and your life. You two would have enjoyed each other.

Hey Miss Callie! I'm currently in cool (compared to Phoenix) southern Colorado for work. Thought I would let you know I didn't fall of the face of the earth. Gosh I feel so much better here out of the extreme heat and working with lots of cool people. I miss the people interaction when I'm in Phoenix. Oh boo hoo.
